The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends that the average individual visit a dentist twice a year for regular exams and cleanings. Other incidents necessitate more visits, such as breaking a tooth, developing an infection, or experiencing pain. However, most people skip visiting the dentist altogether for one simple reason: The cost.
At Westlake Dental Care in Sterling, we understand the hassle of finding a dentist that accepts your insurance. We also know that many people don’t have insurance, which is why we offer a variety of other payment methods to help you get the treatment you need.
Dental insurance refers to coverage offered by a company called a provider in exchange for a monthly payment. This coverage is called your insurance plan. Everyone’s plan is different, and there are dozens of providers in the United States. To simplify the process, Westlake Dental Care in Sterling currently accepts all PPO insurances including: Delta Dental, Guardian, Old Dominion, GEHA, Dentemax, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Concordia, Anthem, Principal, Humana, Aflac, Metlife, CIGNA and AETNA. No HMOs or Medicaid.
To facilitate billing, we do ask that you bring your insurance card or a copy of your information to your first appointment. This way, our staff can upload the information to our system. If there are any changes to your plan after the first appointment, please let us know.
Besides dental insurance, Westlake Dental Care stands out by creating in-house payment plans and accepting payment through CareCredit®️. Payment plans are created for more expensive procedures and allow you to get the treatment you need right away. CareCredit, on the other hand, is similar but not provided by us.
Affordable family dentistry with no monthly premiums, no deductibles, no yearly maximums, and no waiting periods to begin treatment. Coverage begins immediately upon plan enrollment.

CareCredit is a card that patients can apply for. This card is used to pay for treatment, and then payments are made to the company. It is similar to a credit card but is accepted for healthcare uses.
If you need to pay using one of these options, you need to have your payment plan, or CareCredit settled before we can provide treatment.
