Healthy Smiles: The Same In Every Language

What happens to dental equipment when it gets replaced by newer, more updated technology? Instead of ending up in a landfill, Dr. Tarek and the WestLake Dental Careteam wanted their equipment to find a second life with a worthy cause. On January 20, 2023, we were thrilled to donate several items to Safari N Smiles LLC, which pairs safari adventures with giving back to the community through dental missions in Africa. Through this program, United States dental professionals go on a safari and volunteer for a day or two to provide dental services to people who would never receive dental care otherwise.

WestLake Dental Carewas able to donate over $20,000 worth of equipment to this worthy cause, including an ADEC dental operating chair, W&H implant motor, Bicon implant motor, Dentsply Endodontic motor, MDI implant kit and fixtures, suckdown vacuum machine for fabrication of occlusal guards and retainers, 3 curing light units, impression stock trays stérilisable, Cavitron ultrasonic scaler, piezo cleaner and more. All of this equipment will find a new home in Kenya and be put to good use providing quality dental care to local residents.

I've had excellent care for years. Dr. T is great at explaining everything, making it less stressful, and making sure you feel comfortable. Everyone is friendly and service is prompt. I would recommend Westlake Dental Care to anyone.
