Braces Options in Sterling, VA

Braces Options from Our Sterling, VA Practice

It's often said that the first thing others notice about you is your smile, so it's no wonder so many people aim to have straight, white teeth. For many of us, perfectly aligned teeth don't just happen naturally, so we turn to orthodontics to help us achieve our goals. At WestLake Dental Care, we offer several different types of braces for patients in order to help bring their teeth into alignment. Learn more about the different types of braces we can use to help you reach your smile goals!

Procedure Details:

Types of Braces

There are several different methods of alignment that you can use to straighten your smile. They include:

Metal Braces. Metal braces are the most common type of braces and are made of high-grade stainless steel. Today's metal braces are smaller, more comfortable and more aesthetically pleasing than ever before.

Ceramic Braces. Ceramic braces are made of clear or tooth-colored brackets, making them less visible on your teeth than metal braces. They are ideal for patients who are looking for a more cosmetic option.

Lingual Braces. Lingual braces are placed on the back side of your teeth, making them completely invisible from the front. They are a great option for adults who don't want their braces to show.

Clear Aligners. Clear aligners are a series of clear, removable trays that gradually move your teeth into place. They are virtually invisible and can be removed for eating, drinking and brushing your teeth.

Which Braces Are Best For You?

The best way to determine which type of braces are right for you is to schedule a consultation with our experienced orthodontist. During your consultation, we will assess your smile and discuss your goals in order to help you choose the best treatment option for you. Some factors that may affect your decision include:

The severity of your misalignment

Your age

Your lifestyle

Your budget
