Financing your implants

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost? A Realistic Range

Most people want a number before they call. Here’s an honest account of what drives implant cost.

  • Single tooth implant. Post + abutment + crown. Cost varies with bone grafting need and crown material.
  • Multiple implants. Two+ teeth replaced with implants or an implant-supported bridge. Scales with count and bone complexity.
  • Full-arch (All-on-4/X). Most significant investment — multiple implants, surgical planning, temporary arch, final restoration. Once-in-a-lifetime for most patients.

Itemized quote at the consult — not a ballpark that shifts when you show up for surgery.

What a Monthly Payment Plan Looks Like for Implant Treatment

Spread the cost over 12, 24, or 36 months.

Most patients don’t pay all at once. A monthly plan makes the investment manageable — cost spread over time, not one lump sum.

  • 12, 24, or 36 months. Same treatment cost, divided across a plan you can budget around.
  • Real numbers at the consult. Total cost + monthly figure under the plans available to you — not estimates that shift later.
  • Down payment + plan length + product terms determine your monthly. Dr. Tarek walks through each.

You leave the consult knowing the full number AND a payment option — not wondering what it costs after you’ve committed.

Financing Options at Westlake Dental — Third-Party Plans

What Are Your Financing Options?

Westlake works with established third-party financing partners that specialize in dental + medical treatment. Approval is typically fast, and plans range from 0% APR promotional terms to longer extended-payment schedules. Dr. Tarek’s office walks you through the options at the consult — you choose what fits your budget.

In-House Options: Westlake Membership Club

Westlake works with major third-party dental financing partners to give patients access to extended payment plans beyond what we offer in-house. These are dedicated medical and dental financing products that let you pay for treatment over time, typically with an application and credit decision before the first appointment.

Dr. Tarek is direct about money. If you’ve had a prior credit issue or you’re uncertain whether you’ll qualify, say so at the consult and we’ll work through what options are realistic. There’s no judgment about the financial picture — the goal is to find a path to treatment that works.

Insurance and Dental Implants: What's Typically Covered

If you’re paying out of pocket — without a dental insurance plan — the Westlake Membership Club is worth knowing about before your implant consult.

It’s an in-house plan that covers preventive care (cleanings, exams, X-rays) at a flat annual rate and offers a discount on other treatments. For implant patients it can reduce the cost of the supporting care around implants — the cleanings and monitoring appointments during healing — and takes a percentage off treatment costs.

The Membership Club isn’t a substitute for a payment plan on the implant treatment itself, but it works well alongside one — covering routine care while a financing plan handles the implant cost.

Ready to See the Full Picture on Full-Arch Implants?

Most standard dental insurance plans cover implants either minimally or not at all. Full-arch treatment is typically largely out of pocket regardless of plan.

Diagnostic/preventive: most plans cover the consultation, X-rays, and often the CT scan at standard rates. Extractions: often covered if the tooth is failing for documented reasons. The implant itself: many plans don’t include implant posts; some offer a fixed partial allowance. The crown/restoration: more often partially covered, subject to annual maximums that top out well below full treatment cost. Full-arch: rarely covered beyond diagnostic and extraction.

We check your specific coverage as part of the consult — we tell you exactly what your plan reaches and what the out-of-pocket portion is, so the financing plan is built around the real number, not a guess.

Dental Implant Financing Questions, Answered

It depends on the financing partner. Most third-party dental financing products approve patients across a range of credit profiles, though promotional low- or no-interest rates typically require stronger credit. Patients with lower scores may still qualify for standard-rate plans. We discuss the realistic options for your situation at the consult — we don't filter who can come in based on credit.

It depends on the options available to you. Third-party financing requires a credit application. Some in-house arrangements may offer different terms. Bring this up at the consult and we'll walk through what's available for your situation.

Possibly a portion. Most dental plans cover the diagnostic and extraction components; fewer cover the implant post itself, and coverage for full-arch restorations is often minimal or absent. We verify your specific benefits before the consult so you know exactly what your plan contributes before you make any decisions.

The consult is the right first step regardless of where you are on financing. Dr. Tarek gives you a specific cost for your case — the number you need to approach any financing product. You don't have to have a payment plan confirmed before you come in. Most patients use the consult to get the real number, then apply for financing knowing exactly what they need.

The general financing page covers payment options across all treatments. This page is implant-specific: the cost structure for single, multiple, and full-arch treatment; the financing products most relevant to high-cost implant cases; and the insurance reality for implant patients. If your question is about affording implants, this page is the right one.

I’ve had excellent care for years. Dr. T is great at explaining everything, making it less stressful, and making sure you feel comfortable. Everyone is friendly and service is prompt. I would recommend Westlake Dental Care to anyone.
