Invisalign vs. braces, how we actually think about it
We get this question constantly, so here’s the honest version. We don’t push Invisalign as the “better” option across the board. We recommend it when your case supports it. That’s what the first visit is for.
When Invisalign fits
Good at correcting crowding, spacing, and mild-to-moderate bite issues. No brackets, no food restrictions. You take the trays out to eat and brush, which also means the result depends on you actually wearing them.
When braces still win
Some of the more complex movements, especially in growing teens, are better handled with brackets and wires. Dr. Tarek looks at your bite and tells you straight whether aligners make sense.
Adults and teens both
Adults come in because they finally decided to deal with something they’ve lived with for years. Teens come in with a parent, often after a checkup flagged something. Both get the same starting point: a real look at your teeth before trays come up.
