Porcelain
- Holds color for years; resists staining; reflects light like natural enamel

- A small, irreversible amount of enamel removed: a decision worth sitting with, not rushing
Composite
- Sculpted directly on the tooth in a single visit, no lab
- Costs less up front; sometimes little to no enamel removal
- Doesn’t hold up or resist staining quite as long; more touch-ups over time
