What the second visit looks like
Michael came in wanting his teeth back the way they were before a car accident. This is his second visit, filmed in the practice. The mock-up goes on, we photograph it, and Dr. Tarek walks him through the plan on screen.
The preview works because you are looking at your own face, your own lips and your own proportions, not a stranger’s best photo. That removes the imagination step, where most smile decisions quietly die.
We took both photographs the same morning, minutes apart, in the same light. No retouching and no simulation. The “after” at the end of the film is this mock-up. It shows shape, length and proportion on his own face. It is not finished treatment.
Who this visit is for
You do not need to know what you want yet
Most people arrive with a feeling rather than a plan. The visit tends to be most useful if you:

- Are weighing Invisalign and want a sense of how straighter teeth would change your smile’s overall look
- Are missing one or more teeth and want to understand implant or full-arch options, including what a rebuilt smile could look like

We take the records
Sit down, say what bothers you, then photos and a digital scan. That is the whole first visit. Nothing to decide.
02BETWEEN VISITS
The design work happens
Your records become a three-dimensional model of you, not a diagram and not a stock set of teeth. Every clinical decision gets made on that model first: what the bone supports, what the bite is doing, what is realistic. The errors happen on the computer, not in your mouth.
03VISIT 2 · THE SMILE TEST DRIVE
You wear it
A mock-up of the design goes over your own teeth. It only adds material, so nothing is drilled and nothing is filed, and it comes off before you leave.
04VISIT 2 · THE REVEAL
You see it beside where you started
We photograph you wearing it, and those photographs go into a presentation next to your before. Dr. Tarek walks you through it. Your face, that smile, side by side.
Side by side is the point. On its own, a photograph of a good smile just looks like a good smile. Against your own before, you can see the size of the decision you are being asked to make.
05VISIT 2 · THE PLAN
You take it home
The full plan, in writing, with the numbers on it. Decide at your kitchen table, not in the chair.
Why we built it this way
Dr. Tarek has done this long enough to know that the moment someone sees themselves differently changes how they feel about the whole process. A guest who’d avoided photographs for decades. A guest who had been told it was too complicated. It’s why the practice invested in the technology to show you before treatment starts, not after.
It’s also why there’s no pressure to book anything on the spot. Some guests move forward the same week. Others take the plan home and think about it for months. Both are fine with us.
